Blue and White Paradise

A precious land of an unseen magic,
A land of ancient Gods and Goddesses,
So blessed, so beautifully marinated,
In the age old waters of the Aegean sea,
As whitewashed boxes contrast the serene blue,
As a calm and timeless atmosphere,
Lingers over this modest Mediterranean treasure,
Evidence of its momentous history,
A history punctuated with tragedy,
Remnants of which, today,
Manifest in an elegant, colorful array,
As each blissful day, slowly fades away.

Clair De Lune [Moonlight]

The haunting, beautiful sounds of the night,
Swept across the mysteriously silent sky,
As the silver light bathes the earth so near,
Lessening the loneliness of this darkened atmosphere.

In the distance, faint songs of the ocean is heard,
In the distance, in its own peace, undeterred,
In the distance, like the purest of milk,
Her light poured into the sea, smooth like silk.

As I walk this coastal pathway in utmost serenity,
Thy infinite bliss encompasses my entire being,
For once and for all, I am rid of all fears and tears,
And like the winds of the night, for once and for all, I am free.

The Sea Caresses Me

The sea caresses my soul,
As I lay there on the sand,
Gritty grains between my fingers,
On and on, my mind lingers,
Coconut trees and simple pleasures,
Romantic walks and moonlit dinners,
Lazy days at Polynesian spas,
Hawaiian tiki parties and 2am swims,
Building sand castles and surfing the waves,
Under that mysterious full moon light,
With a special someone, my winner,
On and on my mind lingers,
As the ocean massages, the sea caresses,
Every blessed cell in me.
